Personal FM Systems
A personal FM (frequency modulated) System is a form of assistive technology that uses wireless radio frequencies to transmit audio signals directly from a transmitter (microphone) into a receiver attached to or embedded within hearing aid(s). This allows a teacher’s voice to, in essence, bypass background noise and speak directly to a child’s ear.
